A polo club opens at a Tashkent university
Uzbekistan State World Languages University now has its own polo club.
On 2 July, during the Youth Day events, Uzbekistan State World Languages University opened its own polo club. The rector, I. Tukhtasinov, spoke about sport, a healthy lifestyle and patriotism among young people.
Joaquin Spilmann, the federation’s Argentine adviser, talked about the history of polo, how the game is growing and what it offers young people. During the same visit he gave a master class in Tashkent for local teams on technique, tactics and player development.
